A MAN wielding a carving knife threatened a shop asssistant before fleeing with cash and cigarettes.
The man burst in to Booze Buster on Elliott Street, Tyldesley, at 6.20pm on Tuesday and ordered a woman working behind the counter to fill a plastic bag with money. He fled on to Patchett Street.
The man was white, aged 18 to 20, stocky, 5ft 2in tall and clean shaven. He wore a white hooded top.
