A man is to face two trials for charges of offences of violent entry to a house and criminal damage.
Gareth Delaney (28), of Pear Avenue, Bury, faces one charge of using violence to secure entry to a house in Middleton against the wishes of the occupant, and another charge on a different date of destroying tyres worth £140 belonging to Mr Tom Hughes.
Pleas of not guilty have been entered to both charges, and as the matters are separate, dates for two trials will have to be fixed.
The hearing was adjourned by Rochdale magistrates for a pre-trial review on December 22, and Delaney was granted conditional bail.
