A WOMAN has appeared in court following the disappearance of a two-year-old child from a day centre in Leigh.
Rebecca Bushnell, aged 21, from Wigan, has been charged with taking a child from a responsible person.
The toddler disappeared from Stonehouse Resource Centre in Leigh last Friday.
She was found safe on Tuesday.
Three others, a 20-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, all from Wigan, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They were released on police bail until March 14, 2006.
Bushnell appeared at Wigan Magistrates Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody until January 12 when she will appear at the same court.
