TWO men were taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle pile-up in rush hour traffic at Leigh.
Police closed part of Atherleigh Way between Twist Lane and St Helens Road for several hours and set-up diversions after four vehicles collided on the canal bridge section of the Leigh town centre bypass at 5.55pm on Tuesday.
A 26 year-old man and another in his 50s were taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital with minor injuries. Two other people involved in the incident were uninjured.
