A 27-year-old man accused of robbing an off-licence and a betting shop in Tyldesley has appeared in court.
James Baldwin, of Bee Fold Lane, Atherton, is alleged to have robbed the Booze Buster store of cash, cigarettes and vodka on December 20.
He is also charged with robbing Dones bookmakers of £250 cash on November 1.
Baldwin, who appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link equipment from Forest Bank prison, was remanded in custody until March 13.
