RADCLIFFE BORO 2 LEEK TOWN 3: A moment of madness from striker Steve Foster gave Radcliffe Boro an impossible task against relegation rivals Leek Town.
Boro had been by far the better side up to the 20 minute mark when Foster was red carded for stamping on a Leek defender.
New signing Jonathan Smith grabbed a surprise goal for Boro just seven minutes later, but Leek seized control just before the break and equalised through Alan Nagington.
Dave MacPherson gave the visitors the lead soon after the break, and Simon Eldershaw then settled the game with a well-taken goal on 86 minutes.
Scott Wilson then grabbed a consolation on 88 minutes for Boro with a superb effort from 25 yards, but it proved too late to inspire a comeback.
