BRISTOL ROVERS 1, SHAKERS 0: Chris Casper believed relegation-threatened Shakers were unlucky not to leave the Memorial Stadium with at least a point following their 1-0 defeat.
Casper said: "I thought we definitely deserved a point and after speaking to Rovers boss Paul Trollope, he agreed.
"We didn't get the rub of the green, you have to make that yourself but sometimes you need a knockdown or something to go your way.
"I thought we did well and lacked a bit of a cutting edge in the last third."
Junior Agogo's goal proved enough to give Bristol Rovers all three points when he took his chance from 10 yards thanks to good play from James Hunt.
