DETECTIVES are appealing for help in catching a mugger who robbed a man sitting at a bus stop in Bury town centre.
The victim, aged 26, was using his mobile phone on The Rock, when he was punched in the head and face by a man who fled with the handset.
The victim suffered bruising and grazing to the bridge of his nose.
The incident happened at 2am on Saturday. The offender is white, aged in his early 20s, 5ft 9ins, of stocky build with short brown hair shaven at the sides. He was wearing black clothing.
