l COVENTRY have released Gareth Gravell and Richard Davies. Both players had asked for release before Chrstmas - flanker Gravell was experiencing travelling problems from South Wales, while fullback Davies had been offered a job in Cardiff. Initially those requests were turned down, but they have not been agreed.

l PERTEMPS BEES have released lock Rob Hurrell on medical grounds. The former Leicester Tigers and Rugby Lions lock arrived from Coventry at the start of last season when he was a regular first team squad member. But his appearances this season have been limited by a back injury.
