NINE police officers in Greater Manchester have been convicted of drink driving in the last 12 months.
The officers were all caught behind the wheel while over the legal alcohol limit.
It means 2005 was the worst year on record in GMP for officers convicted of drinking and driving.
Three officers resigned immediately, one was required to resign and another was reprimanded.
The four remaining officers are still waiting internal misconduct hearings and face the sack.
