FORMER Manchester United star George Best is to be remembered at a special service organised by his family and friends at Manchester Cathedral.
A club spokesman said the service on March 16 will celebrate and give thanks for his life. Admission will be by a ballot for tickets.
Anyone wishing to apply should send a stamped addressed envelope to George Best Memorial Service, Ticketing & Membership Services, Manchester United Football Club, Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0RA, before March 4.
