Champion Mark Young (Longridge) defends his title in a field that includes former champions Garry Lacy (Ashton in Makerfield), Robert Bardsley (Denton), John Carroll (Huyton & Prescot), Matthew Cox (Royal Birkdale) and Paul Williams (Denton & Hillside).
The 72-hole competition gets under way today and continues until Sunday.
The BGA and Bury Golf Association players are: Chorley – Steve Ainscough, Nick Jackson, Michael Hearn, Andrew Palmer, Liam Ball.
Harwood – Anthony Stirling, James Bolton, Dave Affleck, Karl Bowker.
Bolton – Mark Millhouse.
