BRITAIN’S Got Talent semi-finalists Graham and James Edgington will round off a hectic week with a make-or-break performance at ITV’s Wembley studio, tonight.

The Bolton pair are hoping their home town will get behind them and vote them through to the final.

The father-and-son singing duo, from Harwood, have overcome tragedy to realise their dreams. They will face stiff competition from the likes of singing schoolboy Liam McNally, pole dancer Alesia Vazmitsel and dance troupe A3.

Two more dance troupes, Myztikal and Dance Flavourz, plus drummer Kieran Gaffney and impersonators The Chippendoubles complete the line-up.

James, aged 26, said: “There are some strong acts, but we’re a strong act too, and we have belief in ourselves. I hope we stand a good chance.”

Graham, aged 54, added: “Everybody has really got behind us. We’ve never been competitive about it, we just wanted to show everyone our talent, and in that respect it’s not a competition.”

James picked out Liam McNally and A3 as the ones to beat, while Graham said everyone in the semi-final could potentially go through.

Graham raised James alone, after his mother Jennifer was killed in a car accident when he was one year old.

James was in a car seat in the vehicle, but miraculously survived the crash.

And both father and son have battled cancer — Graham was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer in the late 1990s, while James, a professional actor, discovered he had testicular cancer on the eve of his 21st birthday and debut single release.

Both have now been given the all-clear.

And after a busy week of television appearances and media interviews, they are looking forward to giving it their all tonight.

James said: “Hopefully we’re going to surprise everyone and pull it out of the bag.”
