O2 staff kicked off the run up to the World Cup in style by hosting their own tournament at Bolton Wanderers’ Reebok Stadium.
Around 200 work colleagues from the company’s Bury customer contact battled for glory in the company’s version of the world’s most famous football contest.
A total of 19 teams took part including squads from other O2 sites in Runcorn, Glasgow and Leeds.
And around 500 family and friends were there to cheer them on.
Bury-based Hit and Miss triumphed 2-1 in the final of the seven-a-side competition to win a replica of the famous Jules Rimet Trophy.
