MICHAEL Maguire is glad to be back home as Wigan look to bounce back from the disappointment of their Challenge Cup exit.

The Super League leaders crashed out as Leeds grabbed a last-gasp try at Headingley last weekend to end their Wembley dream.

Maguire has urged his side to put the heartbreak behind them as they take on Castleford tomorrow on their return to the DW Stadium after a six-week absence.

The Warriors have not played there since being beaten by Harlequins on April 23. But the Australian is delighted to be back.

He said: “It’s been six weeks now, so we’re looking forward to getting back in front of our crowd.

“The players really enjoy playing in front of a packed stadium and we hope that it’s the same again this weekend.

“The fans get behind us and we can get our performance back where we need to.

“We’re expecting to see another big crowd and hopefully plenty of noise as well.”

Harrison Hansen, Lee Mossop and Paul Deacon will still be missing through injury, but Amos Roberts came through the Leeds game with a clean bill of health.

The winger returned to action after being sidelined for eight weeks after damaging knee ligaments.

Andy Coley is suspended while Darrell Goulding, Cameron Phelps and out-of-favour Iafeta Paleaaesina will all be pushing for a spot against the Tigers.

Maguire said: “It’s a good headache to have and I’m looking forward to sitting down and having a good look through the team as I haven’t really made up my mind yet on which way I’ll go.”
