A HOODED robber stole cash, scratch cards and cigarettes during a shop raid in Leigh.
The raider went into H & S in Holden Road at 8.50pm on Friday with his face covered.
He pushed the 46-year-old woman working in the store to the end of the counter and demanded cash from the till.
The robber then stole scratch cards, cigarettes and a bottle of gin before walking out.
Det Con Rachel Forsythe, from Wigan CID, said: “The victim was understandably scared and intimidated by this man and he needs to be caught.”
The man was white, in his mid to late 20s, 5ft 4in tall and was wearing a dark coloured padded jacket with the hood up so only his eyes, nose and mouth were visible.
He is believed to have got away in a green, new shape Volkswagen Golf.
