Heaven Knows, a lightly-raced half-brother to Juddmonte International winner Notnowcato, looks the solution to the Alexander Events Handicap at Chester.

William Haggas' colt is progressing with each race and can take another step forward here.

He justified strong market support when making a winning return on heavy ground at Thirsk, after which connections marked him down as a possible for the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot.

He was again well supported over a furlong further on much faster ground at Sandown when just failing to get the better of Count Trevisio.

Heaven Knows is 3lb higher here but the easier ground should suit this son of Halling ideally - as will the extra furlong and he should take all the beating.

Sir Michael Stoute can land the Global Travel Handicap with Scrummage.

He has benefited from a change of tactics and being fitted with a visor since entering handicap company and the handicapper may not have caught up with him yet.

Scrummage won a couple of modest contests easily but stepped up on that form when beaten by a short-head by the useful Ans Bach.

He is well drawn for one who races prominently, is partnered again by the brilliant Kerrin McEvoy - who is adept at judging the pace - and should be far better suited by this sharp track than the differing demands of Sandown.

The yard can record an across-the-card double with Regal Flush in the European Breeders Fund Maiden Stakes at Sandown.

The Sakhee colt will have derived significant benefit from his encouraging debut at Newbury and can put his experience to good use tomorrow. He is a half-brother to Regal Rose, who won the Cheveley Park Stakes in 2000, and has been handed entries in all the top juvenile contests as well as the Derby. The yard won this race in 2001 with subsequent Group One winner Leadership and Regal Flush can emulate him before being sent in search of black type.

Mark Johnston does not send many horses to Salisbury from his Middleham base but Champery can make the long journey worthwhile by landing the spoils in the Listed Weatherbys Bank Stonehenge Stakes.

A promising juvenile with a raft of big race entries, he has yet to have been asked a serious question in two outings to date.

The form of those two races is not outstanding but there has been no mistaking the style of his victories in which he has demonstrated a thoroughly professional attitude and he can complete his hat-trick tomorrow evening.
