FIRE crews from across Bolton were called to a blaze at a town centre bar in the early hours of this morning.
Around a hundred people were evacuated from Lush Bar on Bradshawgate,shortly before 5am after the lights went out.
A fire then broke out in the doorway for the venue, spreading up the stairs.
Firefighters tackled the blaze, which caused severe damage to the entrance and stairwell, with some damage to the three floors.
Bradshawgate was shut while they dealt with the incident and remains sealed off while an investigation takes place.
