IT is no surprise to me that locals and visitors enjoy spending time at the Bolton Museum and Art Gallery.
The latest figures from Visit England ranked the complex – including the aquarium – as the third most successful free attraction in Greater Manchester last year behind Manchester Art Gallery and Manchester Museum.
Bolton had 321,569 visitors last year and officials expect the 2011 figures to be high once more.
