A BOLTON man has been charged with driving offences following an incident in a North Wales holiday camp, which left a pedestrian with serious leg injuries.
David James Brooks, aged 29, of Garstang Avenue, Breightmet, is charged with wounding with intent, common assault, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, taking a car without consent, and driving without insurance.
It follows an incident at Presthavan Sands Holiday Park at Gronant near Prestatyn on August 26 when two pedestrians were struck.
One of them was said to have been struck and thrown into the air.
Brooks appeared from custody at Flintshire magistrates' court at Mold.
He was remanded in custody and his case was sent to Mold Crown Court, where he will appear at a preliminary hearing next week.
