Officers investigating an attack on a nightclub worker have released images of two men they want to speak to in connection with the offence.

A man working at Bamboogie nightclub on Bradshawgate, Bolton, ejected two men at 3.30am on Saturday June 11.

One of the men who was being escorted out of the club turned around, grabbed the worker and pulled him to the floor.

The second man threw a bottle at the worker while he was on the floor and the bottle hit the victim on the head.

Both attackers ran off.

The first attacker was described as a white man, 25 to 30 years old, of stocky build, around 5ft 7in tall with short fair hair, shaved around the sides. He was wearing an orange shirt and dark beige coloured trousers.

The second attacker was described as a white man, aged 23 to 28, 5ft 4in tall, of very stocky build with a skinhead hair cut. He was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt, with shiny sparkly diamantes across the chest.

The worker was left with a broken hand as a result of the attack.

Detective Constable Phil Warburton, based at Bolton CID, said: "The victim was just doing his job and escorting these men out of the club for good reason - for them to have turned around and attacked him is inexplicable and they must be caught.

"Please do your bit to help us catch them and have a good look at these images and if you recognise the people in them, contact us."
