PICK ‘n’ mix sweets are making a comeback at a Harwood newsagent.
The format is often associated nostalgically with Woolworths but Walkden’s Newsagents, in Lea Gate, is maintaining the tradition with 30 varieties of sweets.
Barry Walkden, who runs the business with wife Jane, also has a 60kg stand of pick ‘n’ mix sweets for weddings, parties or corporate events.
