FIREFIGHTERS tackled a huge blaze at a mill in Bolton.
The fire broke out at around 8pm on the fifth floor of Derby Mill, in Cannon Street, Deane.
At its height 30 firefighters were tackling the blaze.
The cause is not yet known and is under investigation.
When they arrived flames and smoke was billowing from the building.
They had reports that there may have been people sleeping rough inside the building and 10 firefighters went in to search.
No-one was inside the property, but they did find evidence of people living there.
It is understood the building is currently being renovated.
