A MAN who was found under a duvet in a cannabis farm has been sentenced.
Police discovered the cannabis farm in Preston Street, Bolton, while investigating a suspected break-in at the property on March 23 last year.
After forcing entry to the house, they found 22-year-old John O’Gorman asleep under a duvet in the living room.
Upstairs, they discovered the two bedrooms had been turned into a cannabis farm, housing 30 plants with a street value of £1,700.
O’Gorman, of Winchester Way, Bolton, pleaded guilty to a charge of producing cannabis or being involved in the production of cannabis.
Recorder Roger Farley QC sentenced him to a 12-month community order and 100 hours unpaid work.
