Bolton Hospice and Bolton Food Market are joining forces to launch the Hospice’s limited edition 20th Anniversary Recipe Book.

Celebrity chef Tom Bridge will be testing out a selection of tasty recipes from the cook book at Bolton Market on Tuesday, May 1.

Taking advantage of the host of great value fresh produce to hand, he will be based at the kitchen demonstration area working with volunteers from a local Weight Watchers group along with participants from the Market’s Wellbeing Project.

The event aims to encourage shoppers and traders to get involved, sample dishes and help raise funds for Bolton Hospice by buying the anniversary recipe book.

The demonstration will run from 11am and 1pm and is open to everyone and free to attend.

Samples of the dishes will also be available for people to try and there will be the chance to win tickets to this summer’s Manchester Food Festival as well as hampers of fresh produce.

The Bolton Hospice recipe book will also be on sale throughout the morning. It features each of the recipes cooked during the demonstration and recipes donated by Hospice supporters, patients and from Tom Bridge’s own kitchen.
