MASTERMIND Dr Gary Grant
A FORMER “Brain of Bolton”
has triumphed in the grand final of TV’s popular Mastermind quiz show.
Millions of people watched Dr Gary Grant’s victory last night.
He beat his nearest rival by five points in the climax of the famous BBC2 show and his specialist subject this time around was the Seven Wonders of the World.
Last year, the 34-year-old from Knowsley Road, Ainsworth, was crowned Bolton’s brainiest man.
Brain of Bolton was the culmination of Bolton Premier Quiz League’s 22-week season when the highest scoring individuals were invited to enter Brain of Bolton.
The locum GP originally entered Mastermind four years ago and reached the semi-final.
