WRITERS and poets — nationally acclaimed and local talent — will recite their work at the Octagon Theatre next month.
They will include Steven Blyth, who studied philosophy and literature at the University of Bolton and contemporary poetry at the University of Manchester.
For many years he edited the magazine, Prop, and he will be launching his new collection at the event on Monday, October 8. Also appearing will be Peter Carpenter.
He is a regular essayist and reviewer for London Magazine and The North.
He was a Creative Writing Fellow at the University of Reading during 2007 and 2008 and was made a Visiting Fellow at the University of Warwick in 2000. For more information go to octagonbolton.co.uk or call the ticket office on 01204 520661.
