AN Uzi sub-machine gun was allegedly found in a dawn raid on a terraced house in Bolton.
The weapon was allegedly discovered by officers executing a warrant on Friday at 5.50am.
Christopher Haslam, aged 45, of St Thomas Street, Bolton, faces charges of:
-Possession of a firearm
-Possession of ammunition
-Possession with intent to supply crack cocaine
-Possession with intent to supply heroin
-Cultivation of cannabis
Haslam appeared at Salford Magistrates' Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody.
His case was sent to Bolton Crown Court where there will be a plea and case management hearing to be held via prison videolink on October 17.
