BOLTON quiz star Jenny Ryan will be helping popular TV show The Chase celebrate a special achievement.
The ITV show celebrates its 1,000th edition next Thursday and all five Chasers are due to appear.
Jenny, nicknamed The Vixen, was brought up in Bolton, and is a regular player with the Albert quiz team on Monday nights in the Bolton Premier Quiz League.
She will be joined by 'The Governess' Anne Hegerty – who lives in Manchester but plays alongside Jenny for the Albert team, who are based in Horwich.
They will appear alongside fellow Chasers Mark Labbett, nicknamed The Beast, Shaun Wallace (The Barrister) and Paul Sinha (The Sinnerman) in the one-off episode as they attempt to prevent contestants winning the cash prize.
The show airs on ITV on Thursday at 5pm.
