A BUSINESSMAN will hope to be jumping for joy this week as his plans for a trampoline park are discussed.
Dr Farooq Khantaria has applied to create the new fun facility on two vacant units within Farnworth Indoor Market.
If approved, the new venue would include a small cafe area and changing facilities alongside the trampoline areas.
Such venues are an increasingly popular destination for parties, with two similar ventures open in Westhoughton and near Bolton town centre.
If all goes well for Dr Khantaria, the trampoline park will open seven days a week, between 11am and 10pm and will operate in stores one and two at the market.
The applicant believes the venue could create 10 new full time positions and 10 part time positions.
