A THIEF was given a curfew after he stole meat from a supermarket.

Paul Edwards, aged 40, of Addington Road, Bolton, admitted stealing food worth £60.08 from Aldi on August 19 this year.

At Bolton Magistrates’ Court he was given a community order that included a curfew for five weeks.

The curfew means that he must be at his home address between 7pm and 7am every day.

He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.
