THERE is a chance of snow next week as a weather system dubbed the ‘beast from the East’ brings a blast of cold air to the UK.
The Met Office has warned that air from Siberia will move across the country this weekend, with the worst conditions expected on Monday and Tuesday.
London and the south east will be worst affected, with wintry showers moving north on Tuesday.
While the worst conditions are expected east of the Pennines, the Met Office has predicted a 50 per cent chance of snow showers for Bolton and the North West on Tuesday.Wind speed is also likely to produce ‘feels-like’ temperatures of -10C on Wednesday.
