BOLTON festival-goers who missed out due to Creamfields being cancelled on Sunday, after torrential rain caused flooding, will be reimbursed.

Anyone who paid for Sunday tickets will have the full cost refunded.

Those who paid for two-day tickets will receive half the cost back and people with three-day tickets will get just under half.

A spokesman said: “We’d like to apologise for the delay in getting these details to you.

“We do understand your frustration, however there are several parties involved and it’s taken a little longer than anticipated to pull all this information together, rest assured this has been a top priority for us.

“As promised, a refund will be issued on all Sunday day tickets and part-refund issued on all camping tickets scanned on entry for all those who have purchased through one of our official ticket agents, either online or by telephone.”

People who purchased with a debit or credit card will be refunded automatically, please allow 28 days.

Anyone who bought a ticket from a non-official site, including eBay, will not be refunded.
