THE writer of a film based on a legendary Stone Roses gig will be telling fans on Sunday how the film came to be made.
Chris Coghill, from Prestwich, has written Spike Island due to be released in early 2013.
Part of the film was shot on location in Bolton when a fruit and vegetable stall at the Ashburner Street market was transformed into a 1990s Manchester flower stall for scenes.
Mr Coghill, who played Tony King in EastEnders and Happy Mondays dancer Bez in 24 Hour Party People, will attend the event tomorrow evening along with cast members.
The evening will feature Never seen before clips from the film, a talk and audience question and answer session.
