NHS Direct in Bolton will open its doors to the public on Monday.
Local people will be able to look behind the scenes at the health information service centre at Middlebrook.
Regional director Jill Stringer said: "It is an opportunity to find out what's happening at NHS Direct, including our plans to become an NHS Foundation Trust and what that means to the man or woman on the street.
"It is also a chance for members of the public to give their views to the team who run the national health advice and information service."
Members of the public will also be given the opportunity to get more involved in NHS Direct by signing up to become a member of the NHS Trust.
The centre is based at Sefton House, Northgate Close.
Admission is free and people wishing to attend should call 01204 478700 or email marie.bryan@nhsdirect.nhs.uk.
