MORE than six hundred diners turned out to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a Blackrod Indian Restaurant.

The Sagar was established when Abdul Musabbir, Alok Deb and Badrul Alom took over the former Blackrod Labour Club and shaped it into a restaurant.

That original group still the owners of the business and have overseen its success.
