SEVEN is a lucky number for Bolton Hospice – with the centre given a new set of wheels to mark its seventh year in partnership with Bolton Kia.

The car dealership in Horwich celebrated its seventh year sponsoring the hospice by donating a Kia Soul Connect.

The black SUV hatchback has been decorated with the Bolton Hospice logo and has 17-inch alloy wheels, a 4.3 inch colour screen, a reversing camera and Bluetooth technology.

It will be used by the hospice’s shops team so they can easily get between the nine charity shops across the borough.

The Soul Connect joins the Kia Venga which was donated to Bolton Hospice last year.

Sally Wilson, marketing and fundraising administration manager at the hospice, was thrilled to receive the keys from Bolton Kia’s marketing executive Lynsey Greaves.

Ms Wilson said: “We are so delighted with the Soul Connect and we are extremely grateful to Kia for their continued support of the hospice.

“The spacious interior makes it a comfortable vehicle, ideal for zipping around the streets of Bolton.

“It will be used by our Shops team when they’re working across our nine charity shops in Bolton.

“Corporate support of this kind helps the hospice to raise much needed funds towards specialist care and support for the people of Bolton who have life-limiting illnesses, and their families.”

Ms Greaves said: “We really value our partnership with the Bolton Hospice and are pleased to be able to support them by giving them a Soul Connect.

“It is the seventh year of our partnership, and as all our models come with Kia’s seven year warranty, it is a significant announcement for us.”
