A BOLTON marketing and support organisation is inviting local businesses to take part in a special “conversation” in October.

The Best of Bolton, run by David and Gaynor Ramsden, is holding The Big Bolton Business Conversation at The Bridge Conference Centre in Bradford Street, Bolton, on Tuesday, October 17.

The organisation already runs a successful annual Big Bolton Business Expo at the same venue and this year’s event proved a major draw for companies with 85 businesses exhibiting and 600 people pre-registered to attend.

This latest event, with the theme Building Relationships and Business Authenticity, will bring together more than 200 businesses.

Mr Ramsden said: “Having seen the huge success through The Big Bolton Business Expo and the undoubted hunger of local companies to meet and do business together, we decided on a slightly different format for this new event.

“Here, more companies can enjoy the opportunity to openly promote their own business, in a friendly networking environment, together with business insight from renowned, inspirational speakers to add value and interest to the Bolton business events’ calendar.”

He added: “So far, interest has proved us right, with all 20 of the ‘featured supplier’ stands being snapped up very quickly.

“Scan Computers has come onboard as the headline sponsor and there has already been a steady flow of ticket sales.”

The two motivational speakers are Brad Burton, the founder and managing director of 4Networking, and Ben Kench, who has vast experience in the field of small business growth challenges and specialised sales and marketing.

Scan Computers managing director, Shailendra Raja, said: “Events such as this play an important role in bringing together the local business community and we’re happy to be a part of it.”

The event starts at 8am and finishes at 12.30pm with a networking lunch.
