RETAIL giant next is recruiting staff for its huge new superstore opening at Middlebrook this summer.

The clothing and home specialist is currently advertising for both permanent and temporary sales consultants for when the Horwich shop opens its doors.

The positions pay between £5.89 and £7.50 per hour. Various hours are available for those interested in working at the outlet.

It makes good on the company’s promise that the £12m superstore, which was given planning permission in 2016, would bring “significant employment benefits” to Bolton.

The 92,570 square foot complex was unanimously approved by Bolton Council’s planning committee in December 2015 and subsequently granted full planning permission by then Communities secretary Greg Clark.

Next chiefs said the Middlebrook was among a number of specially selected sites around the country to deliver its new Home and Garden centre store concept. It will sell a range clothing alongside a host of furniture, DIY and garden products.
