A DAUBHILL motorist has admitted stealing a car and driving it dangerously down the M6, hitting a police vehicle.
Brian Brough, aged 28, drove a Peugeot dangerously without a licence, while over the limit, and while not insured, on the M6 southbound on March 4.
He also pleaded guilty to the thefts of a gold ring and car keys on March 1, as well as the taking of the Peugeot between February 28 and March 5, without the owner's consent.
After taking it he caused damage to a police vehicle.

He will be sentenced at Bolton Crown Court on March 27.
