TWO teenage children were forced to flee a house in Little Hulton after an arson attack.
A wheelie bin was set on fire and placed at the back of the house, in Ellesmere Street.
A woman and her two children had to evacuate the house, at about 9pm on July 16, but were not injured.
Part of the house was damaged by the blaze.
Police are calling on anyone who saw two people running away after the fire to come forward.
Detective Constable Derek Nellany, of Bolton police, said: “This was a reckless act as the owner was inside the house with her two teenage children but thankfully they got out and were not hurt.
“From what we have been told, two people were seen running away from the scene shortly after the fire started and I would appeal to anyone who saw them to call police.”
Anyone with information should phone police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
