TWO men have appeared in court in connection with a stabbing at Level nightclub on New Year's Day.
James Coward, aged 20, and Ryan Coward, aged 24, are both accused of a single count of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
It concerns an incident at around 1.15am on Sunday January 1 at the nightclub venue in Mawdsley Street.
A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his neck, leg and back.
The victim is still undergoing treatment for his injuries and is recovering well.
The Cowards, both of Formby Road, Salford, appeared from custody at Salford Magistrates' Court on January 2.
They were sent for trial to Bolton Crown Court where there will be a plea and trial preparation hearing later this month.
The pair were remanded back in custody until then.
