EAGLEY Infant School had an egg-cellent time when it raised £1,200 with a special Easter funfair.
The money raised from the funfair will be spent on outdoor play equipment for the school, in Stonestead Drive, Bromley Cross.
Children, parents and the school’s staff, took part in activities such as face painting, hair braiding, an Easter-themed decorating competition and a colouring competition.
There was also a bouncy castle, music from Bolton FM and about 15 stalls to keep everyone entertained.
Tracy Lawton, acting headteacher of Eagley Infant School, said: “The children absolutely loved it and everybody enjoyed it. It was a lot of hard work, but it was definitely worth it.
“It’s nice to bring the community together and have a bit of fun.”
The funfair was organised by Friends and Family of Eagley.
