‘FUGITIVES’ are wanted for a top TV show.
Channel 4 is searching for participants in its prime-time hit Hunted.
Programme makers are looking for aspiring runaways of all ages to do ‘whatever it takes’ to disappear in 21st century Britain.
Contestants can opt to go it alone or escape with family, friends or colleagues.
A prize of £10,000 will be shared equally between fugitives who successfully evade capture.
Earlier this year Ramsbottom was the backdrop to a thrilling chase on the show.
One of the contestants, former police firearms officer Jamie Clark, was staying in a field on the outskirts of Greater Manchester and had been promised a lift back to his native South West by a deliver driver.
But, beforehand he stopped off in Ramsbottom to use the cash machine outside Santander in Bolton Street. The use of his card was tracked by ‘hunters’ who were alerted to his whereabouts.
But he managed to make it back to the van and head off, evading capture.
The closing date for entries is Monday, March 12
