Elderly woman cut free from car after crash
AN elderly woman was cut from her vehicle following a crash in Walkden on Monday afternoon.
Firefighters from Farnworth and Agecroft attended the incident, which took place in Newearth Road at 2.40pm, and were at the scene for about an hour.
The crash involved two vehicles and the woman was taken to hospital, but nobody is thought to have suffered serious injuries.
