ONE in ten children has a diagnosable mental health problem.
From Monday a new team will be assessing children under 16 at Bolton A&E.
The Bolton Rapid Assessment Interface and Discharge Team (RAID) will also
undertake initial assessments on paediatric wards at Royal Bolton Hospital where it has not been possible at A&E.
Stuart Edmondson, service manager for Inpatient and Urgent Care Mental Health Services in Bolton, said: "We are committed in providing an effective high quality assessment service to those Children and Young People presenting in mental health crisis."
