INSIGHT: Lisa Tate, sister at Bolton Hospice, will be taking over the Twitter feed on Thursday, May 17 to dispel myths about hospice care
A NURSE from Bolton Hospice is taking over the charity's Twitter account next Thursday.
The takeover is part of Dying Matters Awareness Week.
Lisa Tate, sister on the inpatient unit at the hospice will provide an inside look at her role for a full day.
She will feature everything from clinical meetings to admitting patients.
She said: "Many people think the care in a hospice is not as specialist as the care provided in a hospital environment and I hope that the Twitter takeover will dispel this myth."
