POLICE are appealing for information after a man was attacked with a glass in a Bolton bar.

Bradley Mills, aged 25, was out with his friends in Scotts Bar in Arena Approach in Horwich, when the incident happened on Saturday November 19.

He was involved in a verbal altercation with a group of men and shortly afterwards he was struck in the face by a glass thrown by one man.

The father-of-two, from Westhoughton, suffered three slashes to his face, centimetres under his left eye, which required treatment at hospital with butterfly strips.

Det Cons Christopher Hickey, of GMP’s Bolton Borough, said: "This was a highly dangerous and reckless act which left the victim with nasty cuts to his face.

"I would like to appeal directly to the man who threw the glass to come forward and speak with us.

"I would also urge any witnesses to the incident to please get in touch."
