A PETITION launched by Bolton MP David Crausby to “save grass roots football” has attracted more than 6,000 names.
Mr Crausby, pictured, who represents Bolton North East, set up the e-petition with an aim to ensure that grass roots football gets financial support from the Premier League.
Speaking on his Facebook account, the MP said: “Keep on sharing and I'm sure we'll hit 10,000 before the month is out and the Government will have to respond.”
