AN underwear thief was remanded in custody for day as a punishment.
Andrew Middleton, aged 38, of no fixed address, admitted stealing underwear worth £226 from Debenhams on July 19.
He was kept in the cells at Bolton Magistrates’ Court until the end of the day on Monday.
